Pyro Film Development
With many films, pyro developer increases the printing quality of the resulting negative and the capacity to record subtle differences of light. Improvement is shown in sharpness, acutance, and the resultant masking of grain when pyro is used.
The effects of pyro can be quite noticeable, but are usually subtle for average scenes.
